Jean-François COCHY

Jean-François is Partner of Cathay Innovation, in charge of screening, evaluating, and executing Cathay Capital investments. He is based in Paris. Jean-François joined Cathay in June 2014 and has since been involved with the sourcing and execution of several of the firm’s investments. Prior to joining Cathay, Jean-François spent two and a half years as an analyst in the M&A department of French banking group Credit Agricole CIB. During his tenure in the New York and Paris offices, he was involved in several operations for blue chips and middle-market French and international clients. Deal sectors covered included e-commerce, media, renewable energy, agri-food and mining. Before CA-CIB, he interned in the Leverage Finance department of BNP Paribas dedicated to European large-cap LBOs, as well as in the small- and mid-cap M&A Group of Credit Agricole (Sodica Corporate Finance). Jean-François holds a Master of Science in Management from EMLYON Business School (Lyon, France) and completed an exchange program at the National Sun Yat-Sen University (Kaohsiung, Taiwan).
