Justine ZHOU

Based in Hong Kong and Singapore, Justine Zhou is a Partner at Cathay Capital Private Equity. She has over 20 years of experience in financial industry focusing primarily on private equity and venture investments. Prior to joining Cathay, Ms. Zhou was a Managing Director and the Head of Direct Investment at China Merchant Securities International (“CMSI”) in Hong Kong, where she led private equity and venture investments in TMT, consumer and healthcare sectors. Before joining CMSI, Ms. Zhou spent over ten years at Citic CLSA in Hong Kong, where she was a Managing Director of Direct Investment. At Citic CLSA, she completed numerous private equity and venture capital investments across sectors including healthcare, consumer, TMT, industrial and real estate in China, the US, Europe, and in Israel. Prior to joining Citic CLSA, she worked at Pinnacle Ventures, a venture capital firm headquartered in Palo Alto. Earlier in her career, she worked at Milestone Capital, a private equity fund in Shanghai. Ms. Zhou graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Foreign Trade and a dual degree in Bachelor of Science in Applied Math from Shanghai Jiaotong University, and received her MBA from Harvard Business School.
