This year, we were proud to partner with the Centre Pompidou to support a remarkable exhibition: „目China, A New Generation of Artists.“ This initiative shines a light on a new wave of Chinese artists, offering an innovative and creative perspective on contemporary art.
This collaboration underscores our dedication to fostering cultural exchange between Europe and China. By bringing these young talents to the international stage, we affirm our belief in the power of art to spark dialogue and mutual understanding.
Summer Camp with Proxité in Orléans
Last August, we proudly collaborated with Proxité to host an innovative summer camp led by William Cai, immersing young talents in the business world. The comprehensive program featured economic and financial fundamentals, interactive training sessions, and pitch workshops to refine presentation skills. Our goal was to support entrepreneurial spirit and equip young people with essential tools to pursue their ambitions.
The program culminated in a pitching finale at our Cathay Capital offices in Paris, where participants showcased their projects to professionals. This initiative reflects our commitment to bridging the gap between youth and the professional world, helping shape tomorrow’s leaders through hands-on experience and expert guidance.
2023: Ausbau unserer Unterstützung für die Organisation Proxité nach einem erfolgreichen Jahr
Erweiterung des Teams, 83 betreute Jugendliche, Angebot von Berufsausbildungsprogrammen… Die Ergebnisse von 2023 beflügeln Proxité dazu, die Ziele für das kommende Jahr noch höher zu stecken. Geplant ist u.a. eine stärkere lokale Verankerung mit einer weiteren Zweigstelle in Orléans, im Rahmen des Projekts „French Dream“.

Gründung des Projekts “French Dream”
Das “French-Dream” Projekt soll über ein Coaching-System mit ehrenamtlichen Mentoren aus führenden Hochschulen ausgewählte Schülerinnen und Schüler aus benachteiligten Verhältnissen begleiten und sie dazu motivieren, ihren Horizont zu erweitern und sich zu entfalten.
Veröffentlichung des Buches “France-China: A shared sky
Angeregt durch die jährliche Vortragsreihe „One Meeting, One Story“, die in Partnerschaft mit der Industrie- und Handelskammer Paris Ile-de-France organisiert wird, dokumentiert dieses Buch die gemeinsamen Erfolge von 10 französisch-chinesischen Doppelteams in zahlreichen Branchen und Geschäftsbereichen.
Sponsor von „France-China 50“, in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Institut Français
Mit der Jubiläumsveranstaltung „France-China 50“ wurde der 50. Jahrestag der diplomatischen Beziehungen zwischen der Französischen Republik und der Volksrepublik China begangen. Cathay Capital und andere Sponsoren trugen dazu bei, dass in beiden Ländern zahlreiche kulturelle Veranstaltungen in Wissenschaft und Kunst organisiert wurden.

Fontanets Werdegang als Unternehmer und die Entwicklung der Essilor-Gruppe sind eine perfekte Erfolgsgeschichte für die Internationalisierung von Unternehmen für chinesische Leser.
Entdeckungsreise nach Frankreich für junge chinesische Spitzenunternehmer
Die Cathay-Stiftung hat 12 chinesische Jungunternehmer und ihre Familien zu einer Entdeckungsreise nach Frankreich eingeladen, um sie mit der französischen Kultur und dem französischen Unternehmensumfeld vertraut zu machen. Die Besucher erwartet ein maßgeschneidertes Programm mit vielen Austausch- und Begegnungsmöglichkeiten, bei denen die jungen Generationen einander kennenlernen und dauerhafte Freundschaften knüpfen können.

Cathay Capital unterstützt die Einrichtung eines Lehrstuhls an der CEIBS Business School (China Europe International Business School) in Shanghai zur Förderung von Fachwissen und Forschung im Bereich Unternehmensführung in China.
