Daniella VITALE

Daniella Vitale is an advisor to Cathay Capital. She has over 20 years of experience in the fashion retail business, successfully building and scaling brands across omni-channel environments. Daniella is currently the CEO of Salvatore Ferragamo North America, and was prior to this appointment Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer at Tiffany & Company, where she oversaw marketing, product, digital, and communications. Prior to joining Tiffany’s, she was the Chief Executive Officer at Barney’s New York, a $1 billion dollar company with 2,000 employees. During her time at Barney’s she revamped the merchandising strategy, invested in Barneys’ private label collection to boost margins, and focused the company on expanding its digital presence, ultimately scaling the business from $20 million to $250 million. Additionally, Daniella spent 11 years with Gucci where she started as Vice President Wholesale, North and South America and doubled wholesale revenues to over $100 million over five years. Then, as president and CEO of Gucci America, she converted Gucci’s wholesale business into leased departments within US majors and opened new stores, driving retail revenue to 80% in the region. The US region, under Daniella’s leadership, was also the first region to launch e-Commerce efforts for the brand. Daniella currently serves on the board of Moose Knuckles and on the Jay H. Baker Retailing Center Board at the Wharton School, in addition to being a Board Member and Vice Chair of UNICEF New York. She earned her degree at LIM College.
