Jean-Marc Prunet appointed Partner of Cathay Capital and brings dual experience as an investor and entrepreneur

Paris, October 3rd, 2022Cathay Capital today announced the appointment of Jean-Marc Prunet as Partner in its Paris office, a move that strengthens the team as it continues to develop and prepare for the next stages of its private equity business.

Jean-Marc Prunet brings over 20 years of professional experience, notably from Rothschild & Co., Eurazeo and Fondations Capital, but also as an entrepreneur and manager within the family-owned groups Myfox and Somfy. He offers dual expertise from numerous transactions in the Industry, Retail, Media and Technology sectors as well as leading the repositioning and development of a startup and managing strategic organizational, digital and innovation transformation projects at large groups. Within Cathay Capital, Jean-Marc Prunet will contribute to investment operations in France, and with his experience, will assist in the transformation and value creation of portfolio companies.
